This (Facebook) page is being set up to preserve memories of the blessings of God in lives of hearts through the power of God, the Holy Ghost, the gospel, the word of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ in the ministry of Gospel Light Baptist Church, Albany, GA. The church was established in May, 1986, with Michael D. O'Neal as the founding pastor, who remained until 2012, when he accepted the pastorate of Beacon Baptist Church in Lancaster, SC. Two and a half years later, under the next pastor, Gospel Light Baptist Church closed. God was good to us during those years of ministry, with many souls saved, lives changed, and believers strengthened, and we praise Him for every blessing.
